Baby S's First Photo Shoot!

The other day I was invited to photograph Baby S and her family! Of course, she was a sweetie, but a little confused about hanging out naked sooooo much! Here's a sneak peek at a couple of shots:

Big Sister A was so stoic every time the camera came out. And I know she's a crazy little lady (and I say crazy in the cutest and fun way!) because she's the one that taught my son to climb as high as possible on all the playground equipment at school! There are great pals! So although she wasn't laughing when the camera was on her, the adults in the room were. And once the camera was gone, the sillies came out. But no worries, there were many smiles captured a little while later...

Our Furry Friend

Another post participating in the I Heart Faces Photo Challenge. I couldn't resist sharing this one!

This is one of my all time favorite pictures of our late pup! Can't you just see the sweetness???

A Great Family Shoot with Z and Family!

Sunday was finally a beautiful day in Seattle! We still haven't broken 60 degrees, but hey, if the sun is out, we're happy. I had a great time playing with Z and his family in Georgetown in the sun. We found all sorts of great color and I had fun bouncing and watching trains with Z, who my son probably would have to call BouncyMaRoo! Here are a few of my favorites.

I Heart Faces Photo Challenge

I know it's been quite a while since I blogged last, well, here at least. I've been very busy on my other blog, but that's a whole 'nother story...

I've been following this blog, Iheartfaces, that is full of all sorts of great photography, tutorials, and inspiration. And challenges. I love a good challenge! And this week, I've decided to join in on the fun! I couldn't stay out on the sidelines for long....

Each Monday there is a new themed challenge where hundreds of photographers, all levels, can participate and post their pictures. The key... There has to be a face in the picture. The incentive... Being involved in a fun online photography community and the chance for the judges to pick your photo out of all the others (that's my hope for one day!)

So here I go, my first iheartfaces challenge....

This weeks challenge is to put away the fancy cameras and get out the camera phones (which most of us regularly)!

My favorite camera phone app is... Well, I actually have 2. Right now, I'm loving instagram! It links right up with all sorts of things, including flickr and facebook. I've also been a fan of the Hipstamatic for quite some time.

What's your favorite?

The Kercher Family Kiddos

Oh, my! This was the first shoot of my Holiday Mini Session. I thought it would be easy, go take pics for 30 minutes and then narrow it down to 12 to 15 pictures to edit. Well...... I'm not very good at the narrowing it down part! Espeically when it 4 fun boys that I photographed. The funniest moment was watching the littlest guy go into full on model-strike-a-pose mode! Adorable!

Here's a peek

Beautiful Baby N

Yesterday I had a great newborn shoot with the adorable little Baby N, her beautiful older sister and Momma and Daddy. Baby N was just a super model. She was awake the whole shoot and there were no tears, even when Momma left her alone with the odd lady with that wierd clicky thing pointed at her face! It was really hard to narrow down my favorites, but I chose these for a sneak peek...

The Twins 'Due Date' Shoot

I've been blessed with some awesome clients who have put up with my studying hiatus that kept me from editing. But the exam is done, and I'm back to the photos!!

I had a great time photographing these twins a little while back when they were still super tiny. We were able to get together again for their 'due date' shoot. They were still pretty tiny, but not quite the super tiny that they were at first shoot. This time we ventured out of their home and into the wilderness! They did great, once again... Here's a peek at some of the cuteness that is Charlie and LuLu!
