The Kercher Family Kiddos

Oh, my! This was the first shoot of my Holiday Mini Session. I thought it would be easy, go take pics for 30 minutes and then narrow it down to 12 to 15 pictures to edit. Well...... I'm not very good at the narrowing it down part! Espeically when it 4 fun boys that I photographed. The funniest moment was watching the littlest guy go into full on model-strike-a-pose mode! Adorable!

Here's a peek

Beautiful Baby N

Yesterday I had a great newborn shoot with the adorable little Baby N, her beautiful older sister and Momma and Daddy. Baby N was just a super model. She was awake the whole shoot and there were no tears, even when Momma left her alone with the odd lady with that wierd clicky thing pointed at her face! It was really hard to narrow down my favorites, but I chose these for a sneak peek...

The Twins 'Due Date' Shoot

I've been blessed with some awesome clients who have put up with my studying hiatus that kept me from editing. But the exam is done, and I'm back to the photos!!

I had a great time photographing these twins a little while back when they were still super tiny. We were able to get together again for their 'due date' shoot. They were still pretty tiny, but not quite the super tiny that they were at first shoot. This time we ventured out of their home and into the wilderness! They did great, once again... Here's a peek at some of the cuteness that is Charlie and LuLu!

Baby R's Photoshoot

Little Baby R's shoot was quite the eventful one! He was not at all about to sleep through any of it. The need for a few clothing changes for Mom and Dad kept us laughing through the whole thing! He didn't really like to be laid down, but we did discover that being held on his tummy seemed to be quite relaxing for him. Here's a sneak peek of the shoot...

It's M's Birthday Now!

Another Birthday Party!!! We got to help M celebrate her birthday at Seward Park, run, run, run! The biggest hit with the kids seemed to be the water spout! The biggest hit with me and my little one was the no spill bubbles!! I took a bunch of pictures, again... I just can't seem to help myself! Here are a few of my favorites. I also did a bit of playing with editing and using a storyboard for the first time.

Little Miss Twins

Oh, my!!! These little ones were absolutely adorable! I had the best time photographing these two. As a little girl, I always wanted twins. As I grew up, and then had my own little one, I decided, Man, twins would be a huge handful. But after meeting these two sweet peas, I realized the beauty of having twins. I just can't say it enough, but they are adorable together!!! They were preemies and just sooo tiny. When I got to photograph them they were almost 2 months old. I'm excited about taking their pictures again on their actual due date coming up in August. Here's a sneak peak of some of the black and white shots.

Happy Birthday James!

More summer fun! It's birthday time for our friend James. We had such a fun time at his action packed party. There were ponies, train rides, great food, pinatas, and tons of cute kids having a blast. Here's just a couple of shots....

T and J's Wedding

Technically, I was not the photographer at this wedding, but how can I go to a wedding and not take pictures??? Last month I traveled to Denver to attend one of my college best friend's wedding. It was such a fun weekend and wedding and a great time getting to see my old friends. OK, the friends aren't old, but the friendships are! Here are a few of my favorite pictures:

Andy and Alissa Engagement Session

This weekend I met Andy, Alissa and thier pup at the University of Washingtion for an engagement photo session. The weather was beautiful and they are so cute!! :) Hopefully they are as happy with the pictures as I am!

Best Friend's Baby

A little different photo shoot that we were thinking. My best friend had her baby while I was on vacation visiting her! It was perfect timing, if I do say so myself! We had planned a real newborn session, but it just didn't happen. There are still some cute ones from the hospital though!

Wildlife Photographer

While I was on vacation I put on my wildlife photographer hat and went in search of wild birds. And look what I found... OK, actually I don't have a wildlife photographer hat and he found us. We were at Big Lagoon State Park in Florida and he was on one side of the 'Do Not Cross. Wildlife Sanctuary.' sign and we were on the other. It was like he knew we weren't supposed to cross! He checked us out for a while and then went back to fishin'.
